Generalized Chaotic Synchronizationin Coupled Ginzburg-Landau Equations

open access: yes, 2006
Generalized synchronization is analyzed in unidirectionally coupled oscillatory systems exhibiting spatiotemporal chaotic behavior described by Ginzburg-Landau equations. Several types of coupling betweenthe systems are analyzed.

Eigenvalue Decomposition as a Generalized Synchronization Cluster Analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Motivated by the recent demonstration of its use as a tool for the detection and characterization of phase-shape correlations in multivariate time series, we show that eigenvalue decomposition can also be applied to a matrix of indices of bivariate phase

Generalized Synchronization Trees [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
This paper develops a generalized theory of synchronization trees. In their original formulation, synchronization trees modeled the behavior of nondeterministic discrete-time reactive systems and served as the foundational theory upon which process algebra was based.

Generalized Synchronization of a Novel Hyperchaotic System and Application in Secure Communication

open access: yesMathematics
In this paper, a generalized synchronization (GS) framework for identical hyperchaotic systems is presented. The main objective is to achieve generalized synchronization with guaranteed global stability and effective convergence, which remains a key ...

Fractional-Order Virtual Synchronous Generator

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2023
In this letter, a novel control scheme is proposed by combining the fractional-order control and the virtual synchronous generator, whereby more degrees of freedom are involved in the controller design. A well-damped power control without oscillations is achieved. At the same time, a significant improvement in the inertial effect is attained.

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Method of recurrent analysis for the generalized synchronization regime detection in different classes of dynamical systems [PDF]

open access: yesИзвестия Саратовского университета. Новая серия: Физика
Background and Objectives: In this paper we study the possibility of quantitative determination of the boundary of the generalized synchronization regime in unidirectionally and mutually coupled systems with different attractor topologies by means of the

Generalized synchronization in discrete maps. New point of view on weak and strong synchronization

open access: yes, 2013
In the present Letter we show that the concept of the generalized synchronization regime in discrete maps needs refining in the same way as it has been done for the flow systems [PRE, 84 (2011) 037201].

Phase synchronization in time-delay systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Though the notion of phase synchronization has been well studied in chaotic dynamical systems without delay, it has not been realized yet in chaotic time-delay systems exhibiting non-phase coherent hyperchaotic attractors.

Effect of chemotherapy on passenger mutations in metastatic colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Changes in passenger mutation load and predicted immunotherapy response after chemotherapy treatment. Tumor cells rich with passenger mutations have increased sensitivity to chemotherapy. Correlation of passenger mutations with neoantigen load suggests highly mutated clones promote a more effective response to immunotherapy, and therefore, first‐line ...
