Efficiency and prices in economies of overlapping generations [PDF]

open access: yes
In a general economy of overlapping generations, I introduce a notion of uniform ine±ciency, corresponding to the occurrence of a Pareto improvement with a small uniform destruction of resources (Debreu [11]).

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

A Stackelberg Differential Game with Overlapping Generations [PDF]

open access: yes
We study a differential game, for the extraction of a renewable resource, in which players are overlapping generations of extractors. The framework of overlapping generation allows us to consider both intragenerational (players in the same generation ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

A Note On The Characterization Of Inefficiency In Stochastic Overlapping Generations Economies [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper, we provide a characterization of interim ine±ciency in stochastic economies of overlapping generations under possibly sequentially incomplete markets.

Kuşak Farklılıkları: Mit mi, Gerçek mi?

open access: yesJournal of Human and Work, 2015

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Faire naître et mourir les vagues : comment s’écrit l’histoire des féminismes

open access: yesItinéraires, 2018
The “waves” metaphor, which emerged in 1970s to describe the history of feminist mobilizations in the West, has been increasingly challenged in the academic field since the 1990s, when discussions of the “third wave” of feminism emerged.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.
