A General Theory of Circuit Analogy in Fracture Diagnosis. [PDF]

open access: possible, 1984
Abstract : The present report develops electrical analogs to investigate multiple cracks on simple beams and more complex frame structures. Analog networks provide the economic tool to analyze such structures. The effect of multiple cracks on the natural frequencies of simple structures is studied in detail.

Langevin differential equations with general fractional orders and their applications to electric circuit theory

Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, 2021
Abstract Multi-order fractional differential equations have been studied due to their applications in modeling, and solved using various mathematical methods. We present explicit analytical solutions for several families of Langevin differential equations with general fractional orders, both homogeneous and inhomogeneous cases.

An Enhanced Start-up Circuit Eliminating All Trojan States in Self-biased Reference Generators

International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2022
A self-biased voltage/current reference (VCR) generator is simple, but suffers from some Trojan states surviving the conventional start-up process.

Theory and implementation of a very high throughput true random number generator in field programmable gate array.

Review of Scientific Instruments, 2016
The contribution of this paper is proposing a new entropy extraction mechanism based on sampling phase jitter in ring oscillators to make a high throughput true random number generator in a field programmable gate array (FPGA) practical.

Test generation for combinational logic circuits using information theory

Computers & Electrical Engineering, 1986
Abstract Application of probability and information theory to test pattern generation for combinational logic circuits is investigated. It is verified that choosing the input probability to maximize the output information reduced to a minimum the number of random patterns to be generated to detect all the faults in the circuit.
