Equivalent Circuit Theory-Assisted Deep Learning for Accelerated Generative Design of Metasurfaces

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2022
In this article, we propose an equivalent circuit theory-assisted deep learning approach to accelerate the design of metasurfaces. By combining the filter equivalent circuit theory and a sophisticated deep learning model, designers can achieve efficient metasurface designs.

VOLT-AMPERE CHARACTERISTIC AND INDUCED CURRENT IN THE EXTERNAL CIRCUIT OF AVALANCHE-GENERATOR DIODES ON THE BASIS OF THE BACK DISPLACED ABRUPT P–N-JUNCTIONS [PDF]

open access: yesРадиофизика и электроника, 2015
Creation of modern solid-state microwave power sources is based on the application of active elements with expanded functionality. The reverse-biased p–n-junctions with DC voltage are active elements of diodes generators. Avalanche-generator diodes (AGD)

Multifunctional photonic integrated circuit for diverse microwave signal generation, transmission and processing [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Microwave photonics (MWP) studies the interaction between microwave and optical waves for the generation, transmission and processing of microwave signals (i.e., three key domains), taking advantages of broad bandwidth and low loss offered by modern ...

Effects of POD control on a DFIG wind turbine structural system [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
This paper investigates the effects power oscillation damping (POD) controller could have on a wind turbine structural system. Most of the published work in this area has been done using relatively simple aerodynamic and structural models of a wind ...

A simplified mathematical theory of MHD power generators

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2015
We present a simplified version of the Faraday magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) generators theory. The effect of the Loretz force against the fluid ow is neglected, whence it follows the uniform ow of the plasma. We use Lazăr Dragoș’s analytic solution for the

State Estimation-Based Hybrid-Triggered Controller Design for Synchronization of Repeated Scalar Nonlinear Complex Dynamical Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
The goal of this work is to examine the issue of state estimation-based synchronization of nonlinear complex dynamical networks that are prone to external disturbances, repeated scalar nonlinearities and time-varying coupling delays.

Weakening Assumptions for Deterministic Subexponential Time Non-Singular Matrix Completion [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
In (Kabanets, Impagliazzo, 2004) it is shown how to decide the circuit polynomial identity testing problem (CPIT) in deterministic subexponential time, assuming hardness of some explicit multilinear polynomial family for arithmetical circuits.
