Hi-alpha forebody design. Part 2: Determination of body shapes for positive directional stability [PDF]
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) has been used to study aircraft forebody flowfields at low speed high angle-of-attack conditions with sideslip. The purpose is to define forebody geometries which provide good directional stability characteristics under

Application of dynamical systems theory to nonlinear aircraft dynamics [PDF]
Dynamical systems theory has been used to study nonlinear aircraft dynamics. A six degree of freedom model that neglects gravity has been analyzed. The aerodynamical model, supplied by NASA, is for a generic swept wing fighter and includes nonlinearities

Forecasting Root Rot Disease through Predictive Microbial Functional Profiling
Predicting soil‐borne disease moves beyond observation with a framework that elevates microbial functional genes into reliable forecasting biomarkers. By coupling targeted qPCR assays for core stress‐response genes with machine learning, this method detects root rot risks in pre‐symptomatic soils with over 80% accuracy.

Numerical simulation of viscous supersonic flow over a generic fighter configuration [PDF]
A procedure is presented, as well as some results, to calculate the flow over a generic fighter configuration. A parabolized marching Navier-Stokes code is used to obtain the solution over a wing-canopy body.

Quantum key distribution in terms of the Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger state: multi-key generation
In this paper, we develop a quantum key distribution protocol based on the Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger states (GHZs). The particles are exchanged among the users in blocks through two steps.

Multimodal Wearable Biosensing Meets Multidomain AI: A Pathway to Decentralized Healthcare
Multimodal biosensing meets multidomain AI. Wearable biosensors capture complementary biochemical and physiological signals, while cross‐device, population‐aware learning aligns noisy, heterogeneous streams. This Review distills key sensing modalities, fusion and calibration strategies, and privacy‐preserving deployment pathways that transform ...

Urinary Fusobacterium nucleatum–derived outer membrane vesicles are shown to promote bladder cancer lymphatic metastasis. The vesicle protein FomA activates TLR2/NF‐κB signaling in tumor cells, induces IL‐6 secretion, and drives M2b macrophage polarization and VEGF‐C–dependent lymphangiogenesis, revealing a microbiota‐driven mechanism linking tumor ...

Transonic and supersonic Euler computations of vortex-dominated flow fields about a generic fighter [PDF]
Flow fields about a generic flighter model were computed using FL057, a 3-D, finite volume Euler code. Computed pressure coefficients, forces, and moments at several Mach numbers (0.6, 0.8, 1.2, 1.4, and 1.6) are compared with wind tunnel data over a ...
