INADEQUATE MALE GENITALIA

Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health, 1972
SYNOPSISA decision concerning the appropriate sex of rearing of an intersex patient can be difficult, especially in the patient in whom biological tests favour the male sex but the phallus is so small that it could be called an enlarged clitoris. Two such patients are described; one was reared as a male and the other as a female, and the reasons for ...

Demonstrating sexual selection by cryptic female choice on male genitalia: What is enough?

Evolution; international journal of organic evolution, 2019
Rapid divergence in external genital structures occurs in nearly all animal groups that practice internal insemination; explaining this pattern is a major challenge in evolutionary biology.

Female genitalia are moderately informative for phylogenetic inference and not concerted with male genitalia in Saprininae beetles (Coleoptera: Histeridae)

Systematic Entomology, 2019
Our study – the first of its kind within Histeridae (Coleoptera) – deals with the female genitalia in the subfamily Saprininae, with respect to their variation and utility for phylogenetic reconstruction.

Primary lipogranuloma of male genitalia

Urology, 1988
Lipogranulomas developing secondarily in the genitourinary system have been reported rather frequently, but primary lipogranulomas without any past history of etiologically related conditions are rare. We report on 2 cases recently encountered in which tumors were diagnosed as sclerosing lipogranuloma on histopathologic examination.

LIPOGRANULOMA OF THE MALE GENITALIA

Australian and New Zealand Journal of Surgery, 1981
A case of lipogranuloma of the external genitalia is presented. The history and histological features suggest that the exogenous lipid was introduced by the topical application of a baby oil used after minor trauma to the penis. Initial treatment by steroids and immunosuppressive agents was followed by complete excision of the granuloma.
