Carcinoma of the penis is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in Ugandan men. It usually develops in the coronal sulcus and the incidence is closely correlated with standards of genital hygiene. Circumcision protects against the development of this tumour e0ven if carried out at puberty.

Gunshot Wounds to the Male Genitalia
The Journal of Trauma: Injury, Infection, and Critical Care, 1995Fifty consecutive cases of gunshot wounds to the male external genitalia were treated by the Tulane University Urology Service at the Medical Center of Louisiana in New Orleans. Fifty percent of the patients had significant associated injuries. Eight anterior urethral injuries were identified, all by retrograde urethrography.
