Diagnosis was made by demonstration of fragmented acid fast bacilli in the discharge, and caseating epithelioid cell granulomata with Langhan's giant cells detected on histopathology.

Anomalies of the Male Genitalia
1968This section is devoted to the testicle, its ducts and appendages, and to the prostate and seminal vesicles. Anomalies of the urethra are presented in Chapter 6, and those of the penis in Chapter 8. The undescended testicle is the commonest of all urogenital anomalies. I intend to present my own experience in these problems.

On ultrasound, the testis appears as a structure of intermediate, homogenous echogenicity. Mediastinum testis is seen as echogenic band with craniocaudal extension just beneath the tunica albuginea. Cyst or tubular ectasia is often noted within the mediastinum testis.
