Evaluate Music Genre Using AHP Model

2021 2nd International Conference on E-Commerce and Internet Technology (ECIT), 2021
Music genres are labels created and used by humans for categorizing and describing the vast universe of music. In this paper, firstly, after doing the data collecting and preprocessing, we find out the parameters to describe music genres and conduct correlation analysis to eliminate the redundant factors with high correlation.

Musical genres classification using Markov models

2014 International Conference on Audio, Language and Image Processing, 2014
Some audio files' formats contain metadata such as musical genre. This facilitates the usability of musical devices. However there are still many audio files' formats in which no metadata about the sound can be found. Our goal is to provide to users the same comfort in these conditions by computing the genres automatically. Various techniques have been

Music genre classification using Gaussian Process models

2013 IEEE International Workshop on Machine Learning for Signal Processing (MLSP), 2013
In this paper we introduce Gaussian Process (GP) models for music genre classification. Gaussian Processes are widely used for various regression and classification tasks, but there are relatively few studies where GPs are applied in the audio signal processing systems.

Models of Genre for Language Teaching

South Central Review, 1998
It is a very long time ago, now, since Sonia Marks and I worked together in the Department of French Studies at Sydney University. We were friends as well as colleagues, and we shared a great deal more than mere co-occurrence in the syntax of a university department would ordinarily predict.

This chapter reviews the refining of synoptic literary study, especially in relation to redaction, source, rhetorical and composition ...
