Small vesicles, big potential: A review of innovative exosome delivery and molecular mechanisms in preclinical myocardial infarction models

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
This narrative review discusses animal models of exosome‐based myocardial infarction treatments. Emerging techniques aim to improve exosome stability, targeting, and bioavailability for MI treatment as drug delivery vehicles and regenerative mediators that promote myocardial regeneration. Abstract Exosomes have emerged as promising therapeutic carriers,

Synergistische Entwicklungsstrategien von Inhibitoren gegen humane UDP‐Galactose‐4‐Epimerase

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.

Statistical shape modeling of the human inner ear through micro‐computed tomography imaging

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
In this study, 54 cadaveric temporal bone specimens underwent high‐resolution micro‐CT imaging. Images were semi‐automatically segmented and converted to 3D surface mesh models for morphological measurement and analysis. Statistical shape models were created for the inner ear, cochlea, and vestibular system, as well as for sex‐ and side‐based subgroups.

Del gen egoísta al gen altruista

open access: yes, 2010
The Darwinian thought derived from the interpretations and / or rereadings done on Charles Darwin's work, they have generated many controversy. Even the same Darwin demonstrated in many occasions her, doubts on her, before raised ideas, of there that I dress the evolutionism as paradigm, it suggests a serious review in the frame of the emergent thought
