Entrepreneurship and Gentrification
How do startups influence the neighborhoods in which they locate? Using data from the Greater London area, we find a positive association between growth-oriented entrepreneurship and both demographic and organizational changes in these communities. Older, less educated residents are replaced by younger, more educated ones.

We investigated how a discriminatory housing policy—redlining—has shaped the spatial patterns and configurations of greenspaces throughout 177 cities in the contiguous US. Housing segregation has been a long‐term development practice that has sequestered communities of color to areas with elevated environmental and public health risks.
