This study investigates the prevalence of Genu varum (bow legs) among 1,200 school children (ages 11–15) across three altitude-based zones of Himachal Pradesh: Greater, Inner, and Outer Himalayan regions. Using inter-condylar distance as a diagnostic measure, the research found that 39% of children exhibited bow leg deformity.
