MAPKs signaling is obligatory for male reproductive function in a development-specific manner
Mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) represent widely expressed and evolutionarily conserved proteins crucial for governing signaling pathways and playing essential roles in mammalian male reproductive processes.

The Silence of Socrates: The One and the Many in Plato’s Parmenides
Parmenides was not a metaphysician (he was a materialist), so there is no such thing as Parmenidean metaphysics. Plato’s Parmenides, however, offers metaphysical insights otherwise overlooked by readers unfamiliar to what St.

The genus Weissella: taxonomy, ecology and biotechnological potential
Bacteria assigned to the genus Weissella are Gram-positive, catalase-negative, non-endospore forming cells with coccoid or rod-shaped morphology (Collins et al., 1993; Björkroth et al., 2009, 2014) and belong to the group of bacteria generally known as ...

The Concordance Genus of 11--Crossing Knots [PDF]
The concordance genus of a knot is the least genus of any knot in its concordance class. It is bounded above by the genus of the knot, and bounded below by the slice genus, two well-studied invariants. In this paper we consider the concordance genus of 11--crossing prime knots.

The cost as a function of the number of experiments for a non‐symmetric 21×21$$ 21\times 21 $$ system. Four approaches are shown: the proposed stochastic conjugate gradient ILC (SCGILC) method (), deterministic conjugate gradient ILC (), stochastic gradient descent ILC () and deterministic gradient descent ILC ().

Classification of one-class spinor genera for quaternary quadratic forms [PDF]
A quadratic form has a one-class spinor genus if its spinor genus consists of a single equivalence class. In this paper, we determine that there is only one primitive quaternary genus which has a one-class spinor genus but not a one-class genus. In all other cases, the genera of primitive quaternary lattices either have a genus and spinor genus which ...

A near-optimal approximation algorithm for Asymmetric TSP on embedded graphs
We present a near-optimal polynomial-time approximation algorithm for the asymmetric traveling salesman problem for graphs of bounded orientable or non-orientable genus.

In this article, the establishment and characterization of a self‐assembled 3D BBB spheroid model using human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC)‐derived and primary cells is reported. Spheroids demonstrate in‐vivo like tight junction ultrastructure and, in comparison to 2D mono‐cultures, higher transcript expression of BBB specific genes.
