A Case‐Based Reasoning Approach to Model Manufacturing Constraints for Impact Extrusion
A hybrid modeling approach is presented that combines constraint‐based process modeling and case‐based reasoning. The model formalizes manufacturing constraints and integrates simulation data to model complex manufacturing processes. The approach supports manufacturability analysis during product design through an adaptive modeling environment.

Beyond just species: Is Africa the most taxonomically diverse bird continent?
We analysed avian diversity in 8 similar-sized regions of Africa, and in an additional 16 regions spread across the world; half of these 24 regions were tropical and the other half were temperate.

Strange examples of local signatures for fibered surfaces of small genus [PDF]
We give examples of local signatures, completely different from the usual ones, for general fibrations of genus $2$ and genus $3$.

This article introduces the Dataspace Management System (DSMS), a methodological framework realized in software, designed as a technology stack to power dataspaces with a focus on advanced knowledge management in materials science and manufacturing. DSMS leverages heterogeneous data through semantic integration, linkage, and visualization, aligned with

Dichotomy genus-state in the conceptualization of nomadism
The article addresses the problem of conceptualizing nomadism by the genus-policy dichotomy under the deconstruction of the classical western paradigm defining social as equal to the state.

Antimicrobial peptides of the genus Bacillus: a new era for antibiotics.
The rapid onset of resistance reduces the efficacy of most conventional antimicrobial drugs and is a general cause of concern for human well-being. Thus, there is great demand for a continuous supply of novel antibiotics to combat this problem.

A closed orientable 3-manifold with distinct distance three genus two Heegaard splittings [PDF]
We describe an example of a closed orientable 3-manifold with distinct distance three genus two Heegaard splittings. This demonstrates that the constructions of alternate genus two Heegaard splittings of closed orientable 3-manifolds described by Rubinstein and Scharlemann in their 1998 paper Genus Two Heegaard Splittings of Orientable 3-Manifolds ...

Computerized key of the genus genus Laimaphelenchus Fuchs, 1937 [PDF]
The Order Aphelenchida contains several genera of economic importance, namely Aphelenchoides and Bursaphelenchus. Nematode species belonging to these 2 genera frequently co-habit with other genera such as Laimaphelenchus.

Ontologies for FAIR Data in Additive Manufacturing: A Use Case‐Based Evaluation
An ontology‐based approach for generating findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable data in additive manufacturing is explored, focusing on powder bed fusion. The article highlights the benefits of enhanced data findability and digital twin enablement, while addressing challenges like data integration complexity and the need for specialized ...

Distribuert genus i norske DPar
Det viktigaste vi argumenterer for i denne artikkelen, er at det eksisterer ein strukturell fleksibilitet m.o.t. den hierarkiske posisjonen til genus i norske DPar med språkblanding. Dette kallar vi for distribuert genus.
