Inequitable provision of optimal services for patients with chronic heart failure: a national geo‐mapping study [PDF]

open access: yesMedical Journal of Australia, 2007
To compare the location and accessibility of current Australian chronic heart failure (CHF) management programs and general practice services with the probable distribution of the population with CHF.Data on the prevalence and distribution of the CHF population throughout Australia, and the locations of CHF management programs and general practice ...

Class IIa HDACs forced degradation allows resensitization of oxaliplatin‐resistant FBXW7‐mutated colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
HDAC4 is degraded by the E3 ligase FBXW7. In colorectal cancer, FBXW7 mutations prevent HDAC4 degradation, leading to oxaliplatin resistance. Forced degradation of HDAC4 using a PROTAC compound restores drug sensitivity by resetting the super‐enhancer landscape, reprogramming the epigenetic state of FBXW7‐mutated cells to resemble oxaliplatin ...

Edge-aware joint neural denoising and normal estimation for mobile and handheld laser point clouds [PDF]

open access: yesISPRS Annals of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences
Portable laser scanners, handheld and mobile, have gained popularity for their ability to rapidly and economically document scenes. However, the acquired data are characterized by hight levels of noise and by low resolution, both affecting their ...

In vitro models of cancer‐associated fibroblast heterogeneity uncover subtype‐specific effects of CRISPR perturbations

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...

SURFACE SUBSIDENCE MONITORING AND ANALYZING IN BEIJING BASED ON INTERFEROMETRIC POINT TARGET ANALYSIS [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences, 2017
Temporal and geometrical decorrelation often prevents SAR interferometry from being an operational tool for surface deformation monitoring. Moreover, atmospheric disturbances can strongly compromise the accuracy of the results.

Detection of circulating tumor DNA in colorectal cancer patients using a methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed a cost‐effective methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex assay containing tissue‐conserved and tumor‐specific methylation markers. The assay can detect circulating tumor DNA with high accuracy in patients with localized and metastatic colorectal cancer.
