Possible Evidence of Time Variation of Weak Interaction Constant from Double Beta Decay Experiments [PDF]
A comparison is made of the probability of the process of two neutrino double beta decay for $^{82}$Se in direct (counter) and geochemical experiments. It is shown that the probability is systematically lower in geochemical experiments, which characterize the probability of $\beta\beta(2\nu)$ decay a few billions years ago. The experimental data for $^{

Detecting planetary geochemical cycles on exoplanets: Atmospheric signatures and the case of SO2 [PDF]
We study the spectrum of a planetary atmosphere to derive detectable features in low resolution of different global geochemical cycles on exoplanets - using the sulphur cycle as our example. We derive low resolution detectable features for first generation space- and ground- based telescopes as a first step in comparative planetology.

The possible existence of Hs in nature from a geochemical point of view [PDF]
A hypothesis of the existence of a long-lived isotope 271Hs in natural molybdenites and osmirides is considered from a geochemical point of view. It is shown that the presence of Hs in these minerals can be explained only by making an additional ad hoc assumption on the existence of an isobaric pair of 271Bh-271Hs.

Prognosis-search complex for mesothermal gold deposits. P. 3. Petrochemical and geochemical criteria
The relevance of the work is defined by the necessity to develop after hundred year investigations hydrothermal gold deposits formation theory instead of the four competing ones - granitogene, basaltogene, metamorphogene, polygene retaining in ore ...

Solving petrological problems through machine learning: the study case of tectonic discrimination using geochemical and isotopic data [PDF]
Machine learning methods are evaluated to study the intriguing and debated topic of discrimination among different tectonic environments using geochemical and isotopic data. Volcanic rocks characterized by a whole geochemical signature of major elements (SiO2, TiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3T, CaO, MgO, Na2O, K2O), selected trace elements (Sr, Ba, Rb, Zr, Nb, La ...

Geochemical discrimination and characteristics of magmatic tectonic settings; a machine learning-based approach [PDF]
Geochemically discriminating between magmatism in different tectonic settings remains a fundamental part of understanding the processes of magma generation within the Earth's mantle. Here, we present an approach where machine-learning (ML) methods are used for quantitative tectonic discrimination and feature selection using global geochemical datasets ...

Perceiving the crust in 3D: a model integrating geological, geochemical, and geophysical data [PDF]
Regional characterization of the continental crust has classically been performed through either geologic mapping, geochemical sampling, or geophysical surveys. Rarely are these techniques fully integrated, due to limits of data coverage, quality, and/or incompatible datasets.

GeoCoDA: Recognizing and Validating Structural Processes in Geochemical Data. A Workflow on Compositional Data Analysis in Lithogeochemistry [PDF]
Geochemical data are compositional in nature and are subject to the problems typically associated with data that are restricted to the real non-negative number space with constant-sum constraint, that is, the simplex. Geochemistry can be considered a proxy for mineralogy, comprised of atomically ordered structures that define the placement and ...

On Cokriging, Neural Networks, and Spatial Blind Source Separation for Multivariate Spatial Prediction [PDF]
Multivariate measurements taken at irregularly sampled locations are a common form of data, for example in geochemical analysis of soil. In practical considerations predictions of these measurements at unobserved locations are of great interest. For standard multivariate spatial prediction methods it is mandatory to not only model spatial dependencies ...

Geoantineutrino Spectrum, 3He/4He-ratio Distribution in the Earth's Interior and Slow Nuclear Burning on the Boundary of the Liquid and Solid Phases of the Earth's Core [PDF]
The description problem of geoantineutrino spectrum and reactor antineutrino experimental spectrum in KamLAND, which takes place for antineutrino energy \~2.8 MeV, and also the experimental results of the interaction of uranium dioxide and carbide with iron-nickel and silicaalumina melts at high pressure (5-10 GP?) and temperature (1600-2200C) have ...
