Quantum Resonator as a Directional Quantum Emitter
A single‐photon source based on a two‐photon Jaynes–Cummings system features a resonator acting as the quantum emitter rather than the two‐level system. In this configuration, enhanced efficiency, purity, and indistinguishability are achieved, while robustness against dephasing, reduced energy dissipation, and broader implementation prospects for ...

This study provides the first isotopic analysis of Oligocene mammals from Quebrada Fiera, Mendoza, Argentina, filling a major gap in South American paleontology. It reveals a latitudinal gradient in aridity due to the Andean rain shadow and highlights the role of (semi)permanent water bodies in sustaining diverse herbivore communities. Additionally, it

Local high relief at the southern margin of the Andean plateau by 9 Ma: evidence from ignimbritic valley fills and river incision [PDF]
A valley-filling ignimbrite re-exposed through subsequent river incision at the southern margin of the Andean (Puna) plateau preserves pristine geological evidence of pre-late Miocene paleotopography in the northwestern Argentine Andes.

The First Archaeomagnetic Age at Tiwanaku and Implications for Dating Andean Metallurgical Furnaces
ABSTRACT This paper presents the first archaeomagnetic dating at Tiwanaku (Andean Altiplano). We compared the geomagnetic field values recorded by a metallurgical furnace against an updated SHAWQ2k‐SH global model and a regional intensity curve, both of which include, for the first time, high‐quality intensity data from the Southern Hemisphere.
