Guidelines for Scale Development and Validation
ABSTRACT Scales, serving as measurement instruments composed of carefully designed items intended to capture latent constructs, play a critical role in advancing consumer theory and marketing practice. Yet, developing and validating scales poses a formidable challenge due to the diverse methods required to ensure rigor and robustness.

On properties of geodesic semilocal E-preinvex functions
The authors define a class of functions on Riemannian manifolds, which are called geodesic semilocal E-preinvex functions, as a generalization of geodesic semilocal E-convex and geodesic semi E-preinvex functions, and some of its properties are ...

Isoperimetric inequalities on slabs with applications to cubes and Gaussian slabs
Abstract We study isoperimetric inequalities on “slabs”, namely weighted Riemannian manifolds obtained as the product of the uniform measure on a finite length interval with a codimension‐one base. As our two main applications, we consider the case when the base is the flat torus R2/2Z2$\mathbb {R}^2 / 2 \mathbb {Z}^2$ and the standard Gaussian measure

Geodesics of quadratic differentials on Klein surfaces
The objective of this article is to establish the existence of a local Euclidean metric associated with a quadratic differential on a Klein surface, and to describe the shortest curve in the neighborhood of a holomorphic point.

Degree theory for 4‐dimensional asymptotically conical gradient expanding solitons
Abstract We develop a new degree theory for 4‐dimensional, asymptotically conical gradient expanding solitons. Our theory implies the existence of gradient expanding solitons that are asymptotic to any given cone over S3$S^3$ with non‐negative scalar curvature. We also obtain a similar existence result for cones whose link is diffeomorphic to S3/Γ$S^3/\

Geodesic planes in hyperbolic 3-manifolds
This paper initiates the study of rigidity for immersed, totally geodesic planes in hyperbolic 3-manifolds M of infinite volume. In the case of an acylindrical 3-manifold whose convex core has totally geodesic boundary, we show that the closure of any ...

ABSTRACT The European Union (EU) has consistently advanced sustainability goals, with the 2019 European Green Deal (EGD) serving as a cornerstone initiative aligned with global sustainability frameworks. Yet, the combined impact of the Covid‐19 pandemic, energy market volatility, and supply chain disruptions has amplified the urgency of evaluating ...

Variations on the Theme “Definition of the Orthodrome”
A geodesic or geodetic line on a sphere is called the orthodrome. Research has shown that the orthodrome can be defined in a large number of ways. This article provides an overview of various definitions of the orthodrome.
