The Proximal Point Algorithm for Monotone Vector Fields on Complete Geodesic Spaces

open access: yesNonlinear Convex Analysis and Optimization: An International Journal on Numerical, Computation and Applications
In this paper, we deal with monotone vector fields defined on geodesic spaces and their zero point approximation method. In an appropriate setting, we can define the resolvent operator for a given monotone vector field, and then that operator has many useful properties which are effective for the fixed point theory.

Impact of Wind Forcing Resolution on Modeled Wave Extremes at the Coastal Boundary

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 16, 28 August 2026.
Abstract Accurate wind forcing is essential for modeling extreme wave conditions. This study evaluates how wind resolution influences the representation of maximum wind speeds and the simulation of maximum significant wave heights across two cyclone environments: extratropical cyclones in Australia and tropical cyclones in the Philippines.

Manufacturability‐Aware Multi‐Objective Screening of Filament‐Wound Type IV Pressure‐Vessel Cylindrical Sections Using Dual‐Pressure Hashin Constraints

open access: yesPolymer Composites, Volume 47, Issue 15, Page 13854-13875, 10 August 2026.
Manufacturability‐aware multi‐objective screening of Type IV filament‐wound composite pressure‐vessel cylindrical sections toward lightweight and high‐strength designs. ABSTRACT A manufacturability‐aware preliminary screening framework is proposed for the straight cylindrical section of filament‐wound Type IV composite pressure vessels.

Geodesic Vector fields of invariant $(\alpha,\beta)$-metrics on Homogeneous spaces

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper we show that for an invariant $(\alpha,\beta)-$metric $F$ on a homogeneous Finsler manifold $\frac{G}{H}$, induced by an invariant Riemannian metric $\tilde{a}$ and an invariant vector field $\tilde{X}$, the vector $X=\tilde{X}(H)$ is a geodesic vector of $F$ if and only if it is a geodesic vector of $\tilde{a}$.

A Lightweight, 3D‐Printable, Low‐Cost, “One‐Click” Dorsal Skin Window for High‐Quality Long‐Term Multimodal Subcutaneous Tumor Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, Volume 15, Issue 31, 21 August 2026.
An innovative, lightweight 3D‐printed skinfold chamber system is presented for long‐term intravital imaging. This affordable, biocompatible platform simplifies surgical implantation and allows high‐resolution, multimodal visualization of the tumor microenvironment for up to four weeks.

Invariant Measure and Universality of the 2D Yang–Mills Langevin Dynamic

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 79, Issue 8, Page 1973-2102, August 2026.
ABSTRACT We prove that the Yang–Mills (YM) measure for the trivial principal bundle over the two‐dimensional torus, with any connected, compact structure group, is invariant for the associated renormalised Langevin dynamic. Our argument relies on a combination of regularity structures, lattice gauge‐fixing and Bourgain's method for invariant measures ...
