Inversion by Intrusion: Magma‐Driven Shortening in the Turkana Rift (East Africa)
Abstract Late Pliocene to Pleistocene inversion in the Turkana Rift, observed on seismic reflection data and in outcrop, presents a tectonic paradox by indicating local shortening in an overall extensional setting. Previous studies attributed this inversion either to the reactivation of obliquely oriented structural weaknesses or to reorientation of ...

Transient Global Overturning Following the Shutdown of North Atlantic Deep Water Formation
Abstract The Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC), a key component of the climate system, is projected to weaken under climate warming, raising concerns about a potential collapse and its climatic consequences. However, it has recently been suggested that the wind‐driven upwelling of the Southern Ocean may prevent the AMOC from collapsing

Abstract Ocean surface waves play an essential role in momentum exchange between the atmosphere and ocean, which is especially important in tropical cyclones. A key coupling process that is often omitted by coupled models using bulk or simplified stress parameterizations is the explicit representation of wind‐wave and wave‐ocean vector stresses.

Abstract Routine Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) acquisitions from the Sentinel‐1 constellation enable monitoring of slow surface deformation (millimeters to centimeters per year), yet consistent and accessible pathways for producing validated, user‐ready velocity products remain limited.

Abstract We describe a Geometry‐dependent surface Lambertian‐Equivalent Reflectivity (GLER) climatology developed to support operational retrievals for the Tropospheric Emissions: Monitoring of Pollution (TEMPO) mission. This data set provides monthly and hourly surface reflectance for snow‐free land, snow‐covered land, and oceanic regions.
