Geodesics on the Momentum Phase Space with metric $^{{C}}{g}$
In this paper, a system of the differential equations giving geodesics on the momentum phase space with pseudo Riemann metric $^{C}g$ of a Hamilton space is found by using the Euler Lagrange equations.

Connecting and Closed Geodesics of a Kropina Metric
We prove some results about existence of connecting and closed geodesics in a manifold endowed with a Kropina metric. These have applications to both null geodesics of spacetimes endowed with a null Killing vector field and Zermelo’s navigation problem ...

Using the holomorphic geometry of the space of straight lines in Euclidean 3-space, it is shown that every static monopole of chargek may be constructed canonically from an algebraic curve by means of the Atiyah-Ward Ansatz\(A_k \).

Intensification of Alkaline Electrolyzer with Improved Two‑Phase Flow
Porous nickel‐type electrodes with low tortuosity are fabricated and their role in reducing the capillary pressure, bubble point, and ohmic resistance, which led to lower energy loss and higher current densities and efficiencies is investigated. The cell delivers a current density of 2 A cm−2 at ≈2 V.

We estimated the future distribution of alpine and subalpine vegetation types under climate change in the Taisetsu Mountains, Daisetsuzan National Park, Hokkaido (northern Japan). Under the RCP2.6 scenario, habitats suitable for snowbeds and alpine heathland/fellfield drastically decreased overall.

The geodesic between two points $a$ and $b$ in the interior of a simple polygon~$P$ is the shortest polygonal path inside $P$ that connects $a$ to $b$. It is thus the natural generalization of straight line segments on unconstrained point sets to polygonal environments.

Studies of the upper 447 m of the DEEP site sediment succession from central Lake Ohrid, Balkan Peninsula, North Macedonia and Albania provided important insights into the regional climate history and evolutionary dynamics since permanent lacustrine conditions established at 1.36 million years ago (Ma).

Anisotropically Weighted and Nonholonomically Constrained Evolutions on Manifolds
We present evolution equations for a family of paths that results from anisotropically weighting curve energies in non-linear statistics of manifold valued data. This situation arises when performing inference on data that have non-trivial covariance and

Trapping of null geodesics in slowly rotating spacetimes
Extremely compact objects containing a region of trapped null geodesics could be of astrophysical relevance due to trapping of neutrinos with consequent impact on cooling processes or trapping of gravitational waves.

Geodesics in Margulis spacetimes [PDF]
AbstractLet M3 be a Margulis spacetime whose associated complete hyperbolic surface Σ2 has a compact convex core. Generalizing the correspondence between closed geodesics on M3 and closed geodesics on Σ2, we establish an orbit equivalence between recurrent spacelike geodesics on M3 and recurrent geodesics on Σ2. In contrast, no timelike geodesic recurs
