Abstract Monitoring water vapor during extreme events is crucial for understanding atmospheric physics, as well as for improving the prediction of severe weather and enhancing early warning systems. The major gap in monitoring water vapor during extreme events lies in the limited spatial and temporal resolutions of existing techniques.

Abstract The 2025 Mw7.1 Dingri earthquake is the largest normal‐faulting event in southern Tibetan plateau recorded with near‐field observations. By integrating back‐projection imaging, multi‐point‐source inversion, and finite‐fault modeling, we reveal that the rupture propagated at variable speeds in a cascading manner across a complex conjugate fault

Lake Morphometry Influences the Accuracy of SWOT Estimates of Water Level
Abstract Lake water surface elevation (WSE) data in Sweden are needed to understand water supply and ecosystem services provision. SWOT can complement WSE in situ measurements, but the influence of lake shape on its accuracy remains unclear. We explore the performance of the SWOT pixel‐cloud and this influence across 62 lakes from August 2023 to ...

Abstract Ocean microstructure measurements collected during three austral summers (2023–2025) along the Antarctic continental slope off Dronning Maud Land show enhanced subsurface mixing. Mean turbulent dissipation between 100 and 800 m depth is an order of magnitude higher than in the open ocean, with an extreme event reaching 3×10−6 $3\times 1{0}^{-6}
