Distribution models of polysphinctine parasitoid wasps (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) reveal sampling bias and flag potentially overlooked host interactions

open access: yesInsect Conservation and Diversity, EarlyView.
We quantified the geographical overlap between parasitoid wasps and their known host spiders. We could assess which parasitoid species have more limited information about their interactions and are subject to geographical survey bias. We generated sampling bias maps to assist other researchers in identifying where the main sampling gaps are.

Physical Basis of Atmosphere Influence in Geodetic Measurements

open access: yes, 1992

A Non‐Parametric Framework for Correlation Functions on Product Metric Spaces

open access: yesInternational Statistical Review, EarlyView.
Summary We propose a non‐parametric framework for analysing data defined over products of metric spaces, a versatile class encountered in various fields. This framework accommodates non‐stationarity and seasonality and is applicable to both local and global domains, such as the Earth's surface, as well as domains evolving over linear time or time ...

Erythrocyte ‘Feierzeit’ reaction: Novel filamentous and vesicular response to n‐butyl acetate

open access: yesJournal of Microscopy, EarlyView.
Abstract Human erythrocytes (red blood cells; RBCs) undergo spontaneous disassembly after several hours of exposure to n‐butyl acetate (nBA). Images of the morphological changes were captured in time‐lapse sequences using differential interference contrast (DIC) light microscopy.

Early sleep apnea treatment in stroke (eSATIS) – a multicentre, randomised controlled, rater‐blinded, clinical trial: The association of post‐stroke cognition with sleep‐disordered breathing and its treatment

open access: yesJournal of Sleep Research, Volume 34, Issue 2, April 2025.
Summary Sleep‐disordered breathing (SDB) is linked to cognitive dysfunction. Although SDB is common in stroke patients, the impact of SDB and its early treatment on cognitive functioning after stroke remains poorly investigated. Therefore, we explored the association between SDB and post‐stroke cognitive functioning, including the impact of early SDB ...

Adjustment of Geodetic Networks with Additional Fictional Measurements

open access: yes, 1992

An Electroencephalographic Study of Sleep Spindle and Infraslow Oscillation in Children With Autism Spectrum Disorder

open access: yesJournal of Sleep Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We investigated whether sleep microstructures show spatial differences in young children with autism compared with typically developing peers. 32‐channel electroencephalography (EEG) during natural sleep after 5–6 h of partial sleep deprivation was recorded from 53 children (26 with autism, 27 typically developing; 1.1–5.1 years).
