Geodetic datum determination for the Urbas landslide geodetic network
V magistrskem delu bomo obravnavali problematiko geodetskega datuma geodetske mreže plazu Urbas. Gre za največji plaz v zaledju Koroške Bele, ki bi ob svoji sprožitvi lahko ogrozil življenja in poškodoval infrastrukturo na območju naselja Koroška Bela ...

Unique characteristics of winter daily minimum (Tmin) and maximum (Tmax) temperatures and freeze days across the conterminous United States from 1952 to 2024 are examined. Results show spatial heterogeneity in Tmin/Tmax warming rates across the tropical‐temperate transition zone in the southeastern United States, and that the highest temperature on the

Abstract Understanding a population's distribution depends on observing the presence and movement of individuals throughout their range. For highly mobile marine species, these observations typically rely on high effort monitoring programs. Tracking enough individuals to understand trends in movement behavior is not always logistically feasible, and ...

Povečanje zanesljivosti GNSS-omrežij SIGNAL in 0. red (= Increase of reliability of the SIGNAL and Zero-Order GNSS networks) [PDF]
For more than a decade, the GNSS Service at the Geodetic Institute of Slovenia has been managing the national GNSS CORS network SIGNAL, and since 2016 also the GNSS part of the national Zero-Order Geodetic Network.

Increasing the efficacy of the tests for outliers for geodetic networks
Outliers in geodetic networks badly affect all parameters and their variances estimated by least-squares. Tests for outliers (e.g. Baarda’s and Pope’s tests) are frequently used to detect outliers in geodetic networks. To measure the ability of these tests, the mean success rate (MSR) is proposed.

Refining techniques for high‐frequency monitoring of chlorophyll a fluorescence in estuarine systems
Abstract Concentrations of the photosynthetic pigment chlorophyll a are commonly used as a proxy for phytoplankton biomass in aquatic systems. Traditional methods for extracting chlorophyll a in discrete samples limit measurement frequency, while in situ sensor technology provides high frequency chlorophyll a fluorescence measurements at a more ...

Comparison of Squared Msplit Method Vs. Absolute Msplit Method - Case Study [PDF]
In this paper we analyse and compare two modern methods of deformation analysis: the squared Msplit method and the absolute Msplit method. The comparison is made on cases of simulated and actually measured horizontal geodetic networks. The squared Msplit

Using the Nordic Geodetic Observing System for land uplift studies
Geodetic observing systems have been planned and developed during the last decade. An ideal observing system consists of a network of geodetic observing stations with several techniques at the same site, publicly accessible databases, and as a product ...

Main‐chain polyfullerenes: Taking fullerene to the next dimension
This short review appraises main‐chain polyfullerenes. Their slow development over 30 years has suddenly boomed with a rapid growth due to exciting developments in solar energy. Abstract This mini‐review gives an overview of the development, chemistry, properties and applications of main‐chain polyfullerenes.
