The aim of this study was to geospatially explore the occurrence rates of car accidents involving pedestrians in Cercado de Lima (Lima District), Peru. Car accidents involving pedestrians recorded in the 2015 National Police Station Census of the National Statistics and Information Institute were described and georeferenced.

N–O Dual Functional Group Transposition via Energy Transfer Photocatalysis

N–O dual functional group transposition (dFGT) enabled by the photocatalytic energy transfer (EnT) has been developed. This methodology is applicable to both activated and unactivated alkyl derivatives for dFGT, and it also successfully extended to N–N dFGT, demonstrating its general applicability.

TiO6 as a Compensatory Structural Unit in Co‐Free, High‐Ni Layered Oxide for Durable Lithium‐Ion Batteries

Ti substitution stabilizes Co‐free high‐Ni layered oxides through both structural and electronic effects. TiO6 octahedra act as compensatory structural units that help interrupt cooperative Jahn–Teller distortion and suppress detrimental phase transitions, while the electron‐withdrawing inductive effect of Ti stabilizes the oxygen lattice.
