New geographic site records for Artemia in Iran
International Journal of Environmental Research and Education, 2023The last distribution map of different Artemia populations in Iran dates back to 2006, which reported the identification of Artemia from 17 different geographical areas. Iran climate changes and Artemia compatibility to new environments, reinforce the importance of the study of its new habitats.

A system for scalable visualization of geographic archival records
2011 IEEE Symposium on Large Data Analysis and Visualization, 2011We present a system that visualizes large collections of archival geographic records. This system is comprised of a data grid containing a 60TB test collection gleaned from the US National Archives, and three web-applications: an indexer and two web and mobile-device based visualizations focusing on collection understanding in a geographic context.

New species and new geographical records in Ecuadorian Lamiinae (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae)
Zootaxa, 2022Three new species of Lamiinae are described from Ecuador: Pseudosparna pallida sp. nov. (Acanthocinini); Acakyra sinuata sp. nov. and Scythropopsis variegata sp. nov. (Acanthoderini). Piriana pygmaea (Bates, 1881) is recorded from Ecuador for the first time.

Two new species of Botryosphaeriaceae (Botryosphaeriales) and new host/geographical records
Phytotaxa, 2022Botryosphaeriaceae is the largest family in Botryosphaeriales, consisting of 22 genera. The family is worldwide in distribution and occurs on a wide variety of plant hosts. Botryosphaeriaceae includes endophytic, saprobic, and plant pathogenic species associated with canker and die-back diseases, most common on woody plants.
