Advanced Science, EarlyView.A fecal microbial meta‐analysis reveals that Megasphaera is highly abundant in the Asian population with IBD and CRC. M. elsdenii reshapes colonic immunity by triggering DC cell‐mediated Th1 and Th17 inflammation. M. elsdenii and M. elsdenii‐enriched microbiota exacerbate colonic inflammation and tumorigenesis in AOM/DSS mice.Xinxin Hou, Zhaozhou Zhang, Wanqing Chen, Jinming Li, Xiangxiang Zhu, Mingjie Li, Xiaoqi Guan, Haidong Guo, Yanlei Ma, Ling Zhao +9 morewiley +1 more sourceClimate and water-table levels regulate peat accumulation rates across Europe. Advanced Science, EarlyView. This study presents telomere‐to‐telomere genome assemblies for two populations of Larimichthys crocea. We identified centromere‐specific tandem repeats invaded by LTR/ERV1 retrotransposons, unique 5S rRNA enrichment patterns, and population‐specific structural variants. Comparative genomic analyses further reveal distinct adaptive mechanisms in the MYD Yu Cui, Yingbo Yuan, Bi Wang, Baolan Wu, Mingyi Cai, Ming Fang, Weiliang Shen, Xiongfei Wu, Fang Han, Zhiyong Wang +9 morewiley +1 more sourceGenomic Insights into the Origin, High Fecundity and Environmental Adaptation of Hu Sheep
Advanced Science, EarlyView. The Hu sheep diverged from the Small‐tailed Han sheep ≈1330 years ago, and subsequently migrated from northern to warm and humid southern regions. The genes BMPR1B, UNC5C, and GRID2 play a synergistic role in the superior reproductive traits of Hu sheep.Zexuan Liu, Na Zhang, Zilong Wen, Haitao Wang, Tingting Li, Runlin Ma, Menghua Li, Daxiang Wang, Haiping Shu, Xun Huang, Jianlin Han, Yiqiang Zhao, Qiuyue Liu +12 morewiley +1 more source
