An experimental study on strength improvement of expansive subgrades by polypropylene fibers and geogrid reinforcement [PDF]
The rapid development of infrastructure often encounters the loose subgrades and is becoming difficult to carry to construction activities. Numerous counteracting methods are developed to control the swelling-shrinkage behavior of the expansive subgrades.

Geogrid Reinforcement of Asphalt Pavements
Geogrid materials applied within asphalt layers defer or prevent the occurrence of reflective cracking. The contribution of this work significantly adds to extending pavement serviceability and improving benefit/cost analysis.

Assessment of Shrinkage Strain Reduction SSR for RC Slabs with Different Thicknesses Strengthen with Different Layers of Geogrid [PDF]
This study presents experimental work to evaluate the efficiency of using the biaxial geogrid as a shrinkage reinforcement for RC slabs instead of using upper shrinkage steel reinforcement. Geogrid distinguish from steel reinforcement in its low cost and

BEHAVIOR OF REINFORCEMENT BARS IN FOUNDATION WITH SOIL TO SATISFY SUSTAINABILITY
This study presents the behavior of using many types of reinforcement with slab foundations to satisfy sustainability. This foundation with soil effect and two types of bar reinforcement (steel bars and geogrid) are taken.

Evaluation of flexural failure for concrete beams partially reinforced by geogrid sheets
The behavior of reinforced concrete beams with biaxial and uniaxial geogrids as a partial reinforcement with traditional steel bars under flexural loads has been experimentally studied. The effect of geogrid layers with traditional steel reinforcement in

Geogrid reinforced brick buildings for earthquake disaster mitigations
In a severe earthquake, the walls of brick buildings experience in-plane shear and out-of-plane bending, leading to diagonal crack and corner failure, respectively. In this study, an experimental investigation was carried out to observe the above damages

Stability of MSW Landfill Slopes Reinforced with Geogrids
Slope stability is one of the main problems encountered in MSW (municipality solid waste) landfill designs. Slope stability calculations become difficult due to the heterogeneous structure of MSW landfills and leachate, and therefore, slope geometries are formed by choosing low slope angles for safe designs. This causes less waste to be stored on site.

Triaxial Shear Behavior of a Gravelly Sand with Different Forms of Reinforcement
To study the effect of three-dimensional reinforcement arrangement on the behavior of a gravelly sand, triaxial tests were performed on specimens reinforced with geogrid sheet, geogrid cell, and one and two layers of geogrid sheet and geocell combination.
