On the Prevention and Control of Geological Disasters and the Utilization of Geological Environment
With the rapid development of the social economy, people's awareness of environmental protection is gradually increasing. This is because the probability of geographical disasters occurring in the country is also gradually increasing. People have also begun to pay attention to the prevention of geological disasters and the geological environment ...

Investigation on tunnel stability considering pipe‐roof support with transparent soil technology
This study integrates transparent soil technology, 3D reconstruction and numerical simulation to captures the full‐field deformation of shield tunnel instability. Results demonstrate that pipe‐roof support enhances stability via the “soil‐arching barrier effect,” effectively restraining failure wedge development by extending stress transfer paths ...

This study reveals the failure evolution characteristics of deep cross‐fault roadway surrounding rock under excavation support and periodic weighting. Periodic weighting readily induces fault activation, with the spatial distribution of failed rock masses being controlled by the fault strike and dip.

The Risk Analysis of Geological Disaster Based On GIS [PDF]
Risk analysis of geological disasters is a new field appears in recent year which attracts more and more people's attention. Geological disaster risk refers to geological disasters and their possible damage losses on human activities. In this paper, the definition and concept of geological disaster risk elements are analyzed, the application of GIS in ...

Mechanism of “seesaw‐type” rock burst in coal seam mining beneath mountainous areas
This study reveals the mechanism of “seesaw‐type” rock bursts during coal mining beneath mountainous areas. The advancing working face induces nonuniform fracturing of the overburden. The detached mountain mass then undergoes a seesaw‐type rotational movement around a shifting pivot, driving the primary fracture through a characteristic “open‐close ...

This paper conducts a numerical simulation study on the construction of a deep‐buried tunnel in an anisotropic stratum area. A statistical analysis of the effects of two anti‐faulting design measures, namely, a conventional design and an articulated design, is carried out, and the results demonstrate the effectiveness of the anti‐faulting structures ...

To address seepage‐induced tunnel face collapse, this study develops a two‐phase double‐point MPM framework to capture large‐deformation hydro‐mechanical interactions. Incorporating a cementation‐based constitutive model with dynamic permeability updates, the model is successfully validated against saturated granular‐column collapse experiments ...
