This study presents an integrated workflow to evaluate secure and large‐scale CO2 storage in depleted oil reservoirs of the Cambay Basin, India. Industrial CO2 sources are systematically matched with mature oil fields using a quantitative source–sink framework to minimize transport distance and cost.

Geological storage of CO2 is one of diverse technologies being explored to reduce atmospheric carbon fromindustrial processes (i.e. fossil fuel combustion). One of the specific features of CO2 injection is the possibility ofgeochemical reactions (dissolution – precipitation) between mobile reactive brine (e.g.

Comparative Analysis of Metal Preloading Technologies in Batteries and Capacitors
Metal preloading strategies play an important role in efficient batteries and hybrid capacitors to compensate for the consumed metals at the first discharge. This article reviews recent progress in preloading technologies in lithium‐ion and other metal‐ion systems.

Through the synergistic effects of crystallinity reduction and Lewis acidic promotion enabled by PVDF‐Al(OH)3, a PEO‐based composite quasi‐solid electrolyte has been developed, achieving both a high Li+ transfer number and superior ionic conductivity. It endows lithium metal batteries with excellent cycling stability at room temperature, even without ...

Developing a macroecology for human‐altered ecosystems
Although anthropogenically‐induced ecological disruptions are fundamentally important in defining ecosystem properties, they are largely overlooked by macroecological theory. Anthropogenic disruptions and their effects are generally not comparable to one another, nor to disturbances that are part of natural disturbance regimes.

This study aims to introduce a novel‐designed structure of the colloidal aphron microbubbles reinforced by incorporating hydrophobic aerographene microparticles onto the hydrophobic outer shell. This results in the formation of a robust composite film and armored microbubble that offers exceptional ultrastability under elevated pressures of up to 400 ...

Phosphate and fluoride removal options for Hanford high‐level waste sludge processing
Abstract High‐phosphate and high‐fluoride sludges represent some of the most challenging waste streams within the Hanford High‐Level Waste (HLW) inventory due to solubility constraints, impacts on glass loading, and corrosion risks during vitrification.

ABSTRACT Viscous dampers (VDs) are widely used to mitigate the excessive responses of long‐span bridges. However, VDs face some intricate challenges in engineering practices, including high damping coefficient requirement, potential base shear amplification and tremendous damping force under high velocity. To address these issues, this study develops a
