Data‐Driven Insights into Rare Earth Mineralization: Machine Learning Applications Using Functional Material Synthesis Data

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Hydrothermal synthesis records for rare‐earth compounds are repurposed to learn mineralization rules. An extreme gradient boosting model ingests precursors, additives, and engineered descriptors to predict product phases, crystallization temperature, and pH. Feature importance indicates dominant thermodynamic control with kinetic modulation, suggesting

Revising the Static Geological Reservoir Model of the Upper Triassic Stuttgart Formation at the Ketzin Pilot Site for CO2 Storage by Integrated Inverse Modelling

open access: yesEnergies, 2017
The Ketzin pilot site for CO 2 storage in Germany has been operated from 2007 to 2013 with about 67 kt of CO 2 injected into the Upper Triassic Stuttgart Formation. Main objectives of this undertaking were assessing general feasibility of

Enhanced Oxidase‐Like Activity of Ag‐Decorated V2O5 Hollow Microspheres for the Colorimetric Detection of Mercury (II) Ions

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this work, we report the synthesis of a novel Ag‐decorated V2O5 nanozyme with intrinsic oxidase‐like activity for the colorimetric detection of Hg2+ ions. The Ag/V2O5 hollow microspheres were synthesized via a simple hydrothermal method followed by Ag nanoparticle decoration and thoroughly characterized by XRD, XPS, SEM, TEM, HRTEM, and EDX.

Site suitability evaluation method and application of compressed gas geological energy storage in lithologic trap

open access: yesShuiwen dizhi gongcheng dizhi
The current evaluation of the suitability of lithological trap-type compressed gas geological storage sites is mostly based on static factors. It lacks a coupled analysis of dynamic multiple factors, leading to a significant gap between the assessment ...

Mechanism of Hydrogen Sulfide Generation and Prevention Strategies in Oil and Gas Fields: A Case Study of the Sickle Bay Operation Area

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT To address the persistent exceedance of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) concentrations and the limited effectiveness of existing treatments in the Sickle Bay oil production area, this study deeply analyzes the mechanism of H2S generation in the Sickle Bay oil production area and proposes targeted prevention and control strategies. The results show that
