Sentinel-2A MSI and Landsat 8 OLI Provide Data Continuity for Geological Remote Sensing
Sentinel-2A MSI is the Landsat-like spatial resolution (10–60 m) super-spectral instrument of the European Space Agency (ESA), aimed at additional data continuity for global land surface monitoring with Landsat and Satellite Pour l’Observation de la ...

On the road to personalised and precision geomedicine: medical geology and a renewed call for interdisciplinarity [PDF]
Our health depends on where we currently live, as well as on where we have lived in the past and for how long in each place. An individual’s place history is particularly relevant in conditions with long latency between exposures and clinical ...

Research subject. The idea of forecasting fluid-dynamical parameters is based on the views connecting the processes of sedimentation, tectonogenesis and fluid flows into an active fluid-dynamical model of the “sedimentary cover–basement” system.

Geology of symmetric grounds [PDF]
Let us say that a model of $\mathsf{ZF}$ is a symmetric ground if $V$ is a symmetric extension of the model. In this paper, we investigate set-theoretic geology of symmetric grounds. Under a certain assumption, we show that all symmetric grounds of $V$ are uniformly definable. We also show that if $\mathsf{AC}$ is forceable over $V$, then the symmetric

Elastic waveform inversion in the frequency domain for an application in mechanized tunneling [PDF]
The excavation process in mechanized tunneling can be improved by reconnaissance of the geology ahead. A nondestructive exploration can be achieved in means of seismic imaging. A full waveform inversion approach, which works in the frequency domain, is investigated for the application in tunneling.
