Preliminary Study on Host Use and Phylogenetic Analysis of Corethrella nippon in Taiwan [PDF]
This study evaluated a new frog‐calling trap in Taiwan that successfully collected the species of Culicidae and Corethrellidae and identified host preferences, with Corethrellidae most frequently associated with Odorrana swinhoana and Kurixalus eiffingeri (mostly attracted to ~2022 Hz calls).

Extended Hamilton–Jacobi Theory, Symmetries and Integrability by Quadratures
In this paper, we study the extended Hamilton–Jacobi Theory in the context of dynamical systems with symmetries. Given an action of a Lie group G on a manifold M and a G-invariant vector field X on M, we construct complete solutions of the Hamilton ...

Julia‐Kocienski Olefination in the Synthesis of Trisubstituted Alkenes: Recent Progress
Julia‐Kocienski olefination has been lately often used in the preparation of trisubstituted alkenes which serve as precursors of natural products and their analogs as well of pharmaceutically interesting/biologically important compounds. Significant observations regarding the stereoselectivity of those reactions are described in this reviewing work ...

Abstract Premise Imaging technologies that capture three‐dimensional (3D) variation in floral morphology at micro‐ and nano‐resolutions are increasingly accessible. In herkogamous flowers, such as those of Theobroma cacao, structural barriers between anthers and stigmas represent bottlenecks that restrict pollinator size and access to reproductive ...

Skeletal age during hurricane impacts fluctuating asymmetry in Cayo Santiago rhesus macaques
Fluctuating asymmetry (FA), or random deviations from symmetry, can be used as a proxy for developmental instability, and anthropogenic and natural disruptions have been associated with increased levels of FA. In this study, we investigate the effect of demographic variables (age, sex, and decade of birth) and hurricane experience on FA in a model ...

Background – Mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) is the prodrug of mycophenolic acid (MPA) which acts as an immunosuppressive agent. During the biotransformation of MMF to MPA, additional metabolites including MPA phenol glucuronide (MPAG), MPA acyl glucuronide (AcMPAG) and MPA phenol glucoside (MPG) are formed.
