Classification lattices are geometric for complete atomistic lattices

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2017
We characterize complete atomistic lattices whose classification lattices are geometric. This implies an proper solution to a problem raised by S. Radeleczki in 2002.

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Development of a Prediction Model for Progression Risk in High‐Grade Gliomas Based on Habitat Radiomics and Pathomics

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To investigate the value of constructing models based on habitat radiomics and pathomics for predicting the risk of progression in high‐grade gliomas. Methods This study conducted a retrospective analysis of preoperative magnetic resonance (MR) images and pathological sections from 72 patients diagnosed with high‐grade gliomas (52 ...

Feasibility and Tolerability of Performing Portable MRI for Neurological Disorders in an Outpatient Neurology Clinic: A Prospective Cohort

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Accessing brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can be challenging, especially for underserved patients, which may lead to disparities in neurological diagnosis. Method This mixed‐methods study enrolled adults with one of four neurological disorders: mild cognitive impairment or dementia of the Alzheimer type, multiple sclerosis ...

The Mosaics of the Church of Santa Maria Do Freixo (Marco de Canaveses, Portugal): Reflections on Its Meaning in the Context of the Late Musivaria of the Douro Valley

open access: yesJournal of Mosaic Research, 2017
In this paper, we present the polychromatic roman mosaics with a geometric organization and a vegetalist decoration discovered during the archaeological excavation that took place in 2001 in Santa Maria do Freixo church (Northern Portugal).

Geometric idealizer rings [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 2011
Suppose that \(\mathcal L\) is an invertible sheaf on a projective scheme \(X\) with an automorphism \(\sigma\). Denote by \(\mathcal L^\sigma\) the pullback of \(\mathcal L\) along \(\sigma\) and put \(\mathcal L_n=\mathcal L\otimes\mathcal L^\sigma\otimes\cdots\otimes\mathcal L^{\sigma^{n-1}}\).

Functional and Structural Evidence of Neurofluid Circuit Aberrations in Huntington Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Disrupted neurofluid regulation may contribute to neurodegeneration in Huntington disease (HD). Because neurofluid pathways influence waste clearance, inflammation, and the distribution of central nervous system (CNS)–delivered therapeutics, understanding their dysfunction is increasingly important as targeted treatments emerge.
