Computer Aspects of Solid Freeform Fabrication: Geometry, Process Control, and Design [PDF]
Solid Freefonn Fabrication (SFF) is a class of manufacturing technologies aimed at the production of mechanical components without part-specific tooling or process planning. Originally used for creating modelsfor visualization, many industrial users of

Numerical Simulation of Stagger Spinning of Cylindrical Part with Cross Inner Ribs
Flow spinning is an advantageous technology in forming thin-walled cylindrical parts, but for cylindrical parts with inner ribs, the height of the inner ribs that can be formed is limited.

Efficient geometric integrators for nonadiabatic quantum dynamics. I. The adiabatic representation
Geometric integrators of the Schr\"{o}dinger equation conserve exactly many invariants of the exact solution. Among these integrators, the split-operator algorithm is explicit and easy to implement, but, unfortunately, is restricted to systems whose ...

LO-Net: Deep Real-time Lidar Odometry
We present a novel deep convolutional network pipeline, LO-Net, for real-time lidar odometry estimation. Unlike most existing lidar odometry (LO) estimations that go through individually designed feature selection, feature matching, and pose estimation ...

Experimental Tests on Yang-Mills Gravity with Accurate Measurements of the Deflection of Light [PDF]
In the geometric-optics limit, Yang-Mills gravity with space-time translational gauge symmetry predicts $\D \phi =7Gm/(2R) \approx 1.53''$ for the deflection of a light ray by the sun.

Optimizing the Geometrical Accuracy of 2D Curvilinear Meshes
AbstractThis paper presents a method to generate valid 2D high order meshes with optimized geometrical accuracy. The high order meshing procedure starts with a straight sided mesh. High order points are initially snapped to the real geometry without taking care of the validity of the high order elements.

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.
