An Algebraic Geometric Approach to Nivat's Conjecture [PDF]
We study multidimensional configurations (infinite words) and subshifts of low pattern complexity using tools of algebraic geometry. We express the configuration as a multivariate formal power series over integers and investigate the setup when there is ...

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Geometric Approach to Lyapunov Analysis in Hamiltonian Dynamics [PDF]
As is widely recognized in Lyapunov analysis, linearized Hamilton's equations of motion have two marginal directions for which the Lyapunov exponents vanish.

Geometrical approach to tumor growth [PDF]
Tumor growth has a number of features in common with a physical process known as molecular beam epitaxy. Both growth processes are characterized by the constraint of growth development to the body border, and surface diffusion of cells/particles at the growing edge.

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

URBANISATION AND 3D SPATIAL MODELLING- A GEOMETRIC APPROACH [PDF]
Urbanisation creates immense competition for space, this may be attributed to an increase in population owing to domestic and external tourism. Most cities are constantly exploring all avenues in maximising its limited space.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Anomalous diffusion of cosmic rays: A geometric approach
In this work, we analyze the process leading to the occurrence of anomalous transport phenomena associated with galactic cosmic rays propagating through the interstellar space.

Geometric approach to the dynamic glass transition
We numerically study the potential energy landscape of a fragile glassy system and find that the dynamic crossover corresponding to the glass transition is actually the effect of an underlying geometric transition caused by a qualitative change in the ...
