Emergent Motility of Self‐Organized Particle‐Giant Unilamellar Vesicle Assembly

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Giant unilamellar vesicles (GUVs), when combined with silica particles under alternating electric fields, spontaneously self‐assemble into motile structures. Asymmetric particle decoration induces fluid flows that propel the assemblies, enabling persistent motion and reversible control.

Colloidal Heterostructures Enable Interfacial Transport of Immiscible Molecules in Printable Organohydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Multiphase printable organohydrogels with tunable microstructures are developed to control molecular transport pathways for immiscible cargo. The tortuosity and domain size of the colloidal phases are tuned by adjusting temperature and shear during processing, which enables the tailoring of diffusion kinetics due to different transport pathways.

Recent Advances in Collective Behaviors of Micro/Nanomotor Swarms

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review describes the driving forces behind collective motion, explores the self‐organization of micro/nano swarms across zero‐dimensional (0D), one‐dimensional (1D), two‐dimensional (2D), and three‐dimensional (3D) spaces, and highlights their potential in drug delivery, environmental monitoring, and smart devices.

Electrically Tunable Friction: From Sticky to Slippery with Ionic Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates electrically tunable friction “from sticky to slippery” using ionic hydrogels, achieving reversible more‐than‐fifty‐fold modulation without liquid lubricants. An electric field extracts a salt‐rich interfacial layer that dramatically reduces friction.

Asian Option Pricing with Transaction Costs and Dividends under the Fractional Brownian Motion Model

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
The pricing problem of geometric average Asian option under fractional Brownian motion is studied in this paper. The partial differential equation satisfied by the option’s value is presented on the basis of no-arbitrage principle and fractional formula.

Ruin probability in a risk model with variable premium intensity and risky investments [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2015
We consider a generalization of the classical risk model when the premium intensity depends on the current surplus of an insurance company. All surplus is invested in the risky asset, the price of which follows a geometric Brownian motion.

A Brownian sheet martingale with the same marginals as the arithmetic average of geometric Brownian motion. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We construct a martingale which has the same marginals as the arithmetic average of geometric Brownian motion. This provides a short proof of the recent result due to P.

The Correlator Toolbox, Metrics and Moduli

open access: yes, 2005
We discuss the possible set of operators from various boundary conformal field theories to build meaningful correlators that lead via a Loewner type procedure to generalisations of SLE($\kappa,\rho$).

Printed 2.5D‐Microstructures with Material‐Specific Functionalization for Tunable Biosensing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
The 2.5D‐MiSENSE platform integrates a microstructured biosensor with an in‐line milking pipeline to enable real‐time detection of mastitis biomarkers during active milk flow. The system uses a 2.5D microengineered surface and patterned electrodes to enhance milk–sensor interaction.
