A Field Theory with Curvature and Anticurvature
The present work is an attempt to construct a unified field theory in a space with curvature and anticurvature, the PAP-space. The theory is derived from an action principle and a Lagrangian density using a symmetric linear parameterized connection ...

Geometric Morita Equivalence for Twisted Poisson Manifolds
In this paper, the author gives a notion of Morita equivalence for twisted Poisson manifolds which are integrable. The notion of Morita equivalence has been introduced by Xu for quasi-symplectic groupoids. In this work, the author defines Morita equivalence for twisted Poisson manifolds, without using groupoids. After recalling the relevant notions and

A numerical model resulting from irreversible thermodynamics for describing transport processes is introduced, focusing on thermodynamic activity gradients as the actual driving force for diffusion. Implemented in CUDA C++ and using CalPhaD methods for determining the necessary activity data, the model accurately simulates interdiffusion in aluminum ...

The thermal diffusivity of MgO‐C refractories is highly sensitive to sample preparation and processing procedures. In this article, the effects of coking sequence, machining conditions, structural inhomogeneity, and graphite coating application on measurements using laser flash apparatus are systematically investigated.

Low‐cycle fatigue damage in Mn–Mo–Ni reactor pressure vessel steel is examined using a combined electron backscatter diffraction and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy approach. The study correlates texture evolution, dislocation substructure development, and vacancy‐type defect formation across uniform, necked, and fracture regions, providing

Geometric foundations of the theory of feedback equivalence [PDF]
A description of feedback control is presented within the context of differential equations, differential geometry, and Lie theory. Work related to the integration of differential geometry with the control techniques of feedback linearization is ...

Stabilization of L‐PBF Ni50.7Ti49.3 under low‐cycle loading was investigated. Recoverable strain after cycling was dependent on the amount of applied load. Recovery ratio was 53.4% and 35.1% at intermediate and high load, respectively. The maximum total strain reached 10.3% at a high load of 1200 MPa.

Abelian and derived deformations in the presence of Z-generating geometric helices
For a Grothendieck category C which, via a Z-generating sequence (O(n))_{n in Z}, is equivalent to the category of "quasi-coherent modules" over an associated Z-algebra A, we show that under suitable cohomological conditions "taking quasi-coherent ...

Creep experiments at 900°C on coarse‐grained steel‐ceramic composites containing recycled magnesia reveal that higher ceramic volume fractions significantly enhance the creep resistance. Detailed EBSD investigations identify subgrain formation in the steel matrix as the dominant deformation mechanism.

Constructing massive particles surfaces in static spacetimes
Massive particle surface is a generalization of the photon surface, both of which translate the dynamical properties of geodesics orbiting the gravitating object onto the geometric description. The procedure for constructing the massive particle surfaces
