Objective This study assessed sarilumab in treating patients with polyarticular‐course juvenile idiopathic arthritis (pcJIA). Methods This phase 2b, open‐label study (NCT02776735) consisted of three sequential parts (each with a core‐treatment and extension phase).

Objective This study aimed to characterize the pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, safety, and exploratory efficacy of subcutaneous belimumab in pediatric patients with active systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) receiving standard therapy. Methods This single‐arm, multicenter, open‐label trial (GSK study 200908; ClinicalTrials.gov identifier ...

Objective We examined whether 18 months of strength training in individuals with knee varus alignment and medial tibiofemoral osteoarthritis (OA) reduced knee joint loads during walking compared to an attention control group. Methods This study was a secondary analysis of a randomized clinical trial that compared the effects of strength training to a ...

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

Stable birational equivalence and geometric Chevalley-Warning [PDF]
We propose a “geometric Chevalley-Warning” conjecture, that is, a motivic extension of the Chevalley-Warning theorem in number theory. Its statement is equivalent to a recent question raised by F. Brown and O. Schnetz. In this paper we show that the conjecture is true for linear hyperplane arrangements, quadratic and singular cubic hypersurfaces of any

The tribological behavior of 100Cr6 steel spheres textured via Vickers microindentation is evaluated under lubricated sliding by varying both dimple size and density. Fine and dense textures significantly reduce friction across all lubrication regimes, while large dimples increase it.

We establish the parameter space geometry of a fluid system characterized by two constants, whose equation of state mimics that of the RN-AdS black hole. We call this the RN-AdS fluid.

Local moves on spatial graphs and finite type invariants [PDF]
We define $A_k$-moves for embeddings of a finite graph into the 3-sphere for each natural number $k$. Let $A_k$-equivalence denote an equivalence relation generated by $A_k$-moves and ambient isotopy. $A_k$-equivalence implies $A_{k-1}$-equivalence. Let $
