Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Nonlinear Dynamics of Moving Curves and Surfaces: Applications to Physical Systems

open access: yes, 2004
The subject of moving curves (and surfaces) in three dimensional space (3-D) is a fascinating topic not only because it represents typical nonlinear dynamical systems in classical mechanics, but also finds important applications in a variety of physical ...

Development of a Prediction Model for Progression Risk in High‐Grade Gliomas Based on Habitat Radiomics and Pathomics

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To investigate the value of constructing models based on habitat radiomics and pathomics for predicting the risk of progression in high‐grade gliomas. Methods This study conducted a retrospective analysis of preoperative magnetic resonance (MR) images and pathological sections from 72 patients diagnosed with high‐grade gliomas (52 ...

Jacobi Stability Analysis of Scalar Field Models with Minimal Coupling to Gravity in a Cosmological Background

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2016
We study the stability of the cosmological scalar field models by using the Jacobi stability analysis, or the Kosambi-Cartan-Chern (KCC) theory. In this approach, we describe the time evolution of the scalar field cosmologies in geometric terms, by ...

Magnetic charged particles of optical spherical antiferromagnetic model with fractional system

open access: yesOpen Physics, 2021
In this article, we first consider approach of optical spherical magnetic antiferromagnetic model for spherical magnetic flows of ϒ\Upsilon -magnetic particle with spherical de-Sitter frame in the de-Sitter space S12{{\mathbb{S}}}_{1}^{2}.

On higher order geometric and renormalisation group flows

open access: yes, 2010
Renormalisation group flows of the bosonic nonlinear \sigma-model are governed, perturbatively, at different orders of \alpha', by the perturbatively evaluated \beta--functions. In regions where \frac{\alpha'}{R_c^2}

Feasibility and Tolerability of Performing Portable MRI for Neurological Disorders in an Outpatient Neurology Clinic: A Prospective Cohort

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Accessing brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can be challenging, especially for underserved patients, which may lead to disparities in neurological diagnosis. Method This mixed‐methods study enrolled adults with one of four neurological disorders: mild cognitive impairment or dementia of the Alzheimer type, multiple sclerosis ...

Geometric flows on warped product manifold

open access: yes, 2012
We derive one unified formula for Ricci curvature tensor on arbitrary warped product manifold by introducing a new notation for the lift vector and the Levi-Civita connection. This formula is helpful to further consider Ricci flow (RF) and hyperbolic ...
