This study examines how pore shape and manufacturing‐induced deviations affect the mechanical properties of 3D‐printed lattice materials with constant porosity. Combining µ‐CT analysis, FEM, and compression testing, the authors show that structural imperfections reduce stiffness and strength, while bulk material inhomogeneities probably enhance ...

More results on degree deviation and degree variance [PDF]
This paper investigates degree deviation and variance in graph theory, with a specific focus on $k$-regular graphs and subdivision of graphs. These metrics are fundamental for characterizing graph irregularity and have significant applications in ...

MOFs and COFs in Electronics: Bridging the Gap between Intrinsic Properties and Measured Performance
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) hold promise for advanced electronics. However, discrepancies in reported electrical conductivities highlight the importance of measurement methodologies. This review explores intrinsic charge transport mechanisms and extrinsic factors influencing performance, and critically ...

Unleashing the Power of Machine Learning in Nanomedicine Formulation Development
A random forest machine learning model is able to make predictions on nanoparticle attributes of different nanomedicines (i.e. lipid nanoparticles, liposomes, or PLGA nanoparticles) based on microfluidic formulation parameters. Machine learning models are based on a database of nanoparticle formulations, and models are able to generate unique solutions

Box graphs and resolutions II: From Coulomb phases to fiber faces
Box graphs, or equivalently Coulomb phases of three-dimensional N=2 supersymmetric gauge theories with matter, give a succinct, comprehensive and elegant characterization of crepant resolutions of singular elliptically fibered varieties. Furthermore, the

We introduce a nucleic acid nanoparticle (NANP) platform designed to be rrecognized by the human innate immune system in a regulated manner. By changing chemical composition while maintaining constant architectural parameters, we identify key determinants of immunorecognition enabling the rational design of NANPs with tunable immune activation profiles

Domination in Geometric Intersection Graphs [PDF]
For intersection graphs of disks and other fat objects, polynomial-time approximation schemes are known for the independent set and vertex cover problems, but the existing techniques were not able to deal with the dominating set problem except in the special case of unit-size objects.

A study on wavelet analysis of railway track geometry
Repeated train passages and environmental conditions cause deterioration of the geometric conditions of railway lines. When track geometry graphs are examined, it is seen that railway tracks have a rough, wavy form due to geometric deterioration.
