Topologically-Geometric Routing

Proceedings of the 18th System Level Interconnect Prediction Workshop, 2016
The paper introduces foundations of the "Flexible Routing Method" that belongs to the topologically-geometric type. It develops the idea to divide the routing problem on two separate successive stages: topological and geometrical. At the first stage it was suggested to use a discrete topological model as Delaunay triangulation or/and Voronoi polygons ...

Topological geometric lattices

Abhandlungen aus dem Mathematischen Seminar der Universität Hamburg, 1989
In two earlier papers of the second author geometric lattices G with a topology \({\mathcal T}\) were investigated, with compatibility conditions partly weaker than the continuity of the join and of the meet. It is natural to ask, why not simply require (G,\({\mathcal T})\) to be a topological lattice?

Geometric, Algebraic, and Topological Combinatorics

Oberwolfach Reports, 2020
The 2019 Oberwolfach meeting “Geometric, Algebraic and Topological Combinatorics” was organized by Gil Kalai (Jerusalem), Isabella Novik (Seattle), Francisco Santos (Santander), and Volkmar Welker (Marburg). It covered a wide variety of aspects of Discrete Geometry, Algebraic Combinatorics with geometric flavor, and Topological Combinatorics.

Geometric models with weigthed topology

Computers & Graphics, 2011
This paper introduces the concept of weighted topology to model a 3D object whose connectivity and metric depend on a novel notion of weighted arc-length. The weighted arc-length between any two points of the shape takes into account the fact that a part of the object may be either weakly or strongly connected to another part.

Geometric and Topological Reconstruction

2022
The understanding of mathematical signals is responsible for the information age. Computation, communication, and storage by computers all use signals, either implicitly or explicitly, and use mathematics to manipulate those signals. Reconstruction of a particular signal can be desirable or even necessary depending on how the signal manifests and is ...
