Mechanistic Insights Into Instability From Single Void Dynamics at the Lithium Metal‐Solid Electrolyte Interface

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Void morphology at the lithium metal‐solid electrolyte contact governs electrochemical contact stability in all‐solid‐state batteries. This work resolves the competing roles of electrochemical reaction, bulk vacancy diffusion, and distinct surface diffusion pathways in dictating the size and morphology evolution of a single void and its transition to a

Transforming Gas Separations with Scalable Carbon Molecular Sieve Membranes Enabled by Chemically Tuned Hollow‐Fiber Precursors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We established a broadly tunable network‐polymer platform for polyimide‐based precursor membranes, extendable to various diamines. Ultrahigh selectivity with demonstrated aging resistance, and scalability via hollow fiber CMS engineering collectively establishes broad and lasting impact for the membrane science and engineering communities.

Terahertz Channel Modeling, Estimation and Localization in RIS‐Assisted Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces have become a recent intensive research focus. Based on practical applications, channel strategies for RIS‐assisted terahertz wireless communication systems are categorized into three different types: channel modeling, channel estimation, and channel localization.

Efficient In‐Hardware Matrix–Vector Multiplication and Addition Exploiting Bilinearity of Schottky Barrier Transistors Processed on Industrial FDSOI

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tasks have stretched traditional hardware to its limits. In‐hardware computation is a novel approach that aims to run complex operations, such as matrix–vector multiplication, directly at the device level for increased efficiency.
