32 species of the genus Eupithecia are established for the Crimea. 20 of them are recorded for the first time. E. karadaghensis sp. n. (type-locality: Crimea, Karadagh) is similar to E. egenaria H.-S. and E. pimpinellata H b., differs from both in external morphology and genitalia structure of males and females.

2022The Geometridae is one of the most populous families in terms of the number of species in the order Lepidoptera. It is known to have more than 23,000 species worldwide. Geometridae species cause damage to forest trees, but it has been reported that they also cause damage to cultivated plants in studies.
