Diversity and biogeography of Israeli geophilomorph centipedes (Chilopoda: Geophilomorpha)

Zootaxa, 2013
The fauna of Chilopoda Geophilomorpha of Israel has been analyzed after examining 128 new specimens from 35 local-ities, reinterpreting all published data including 103 records, and relating occurrence of species with major climatic pa-rameters. A key to identification has been compiled.

The coxal glands of geophilomorpha (chilopoda): Organs of osmoregulation

Cell and Tissue Research, 1977
The organs terminating at the coxal pores of the tug-legs of Geophilomorpha are not repugnatorial glands, but possess typical transport epithelia with deep apical and basal infolding of the cell membranes, between which numerous large mitochondria are located. Many transport vesicles are found in the basal region but fewer in the apical cytoplasm.

True identity of Folkmanovius paralellus Dobroruka (Chilopoda: Geophilomorpha: Geophilidae)

Zootaxa, 2015
The mysterious monotypic genus Folkmanovius Dobroruka, 1957, and its type species, Folkmanovius paralellus Dobroruka, 1957, have never been found again since their description, although the patria of these taxa—the Czech Republic—is among the best studied regions regarding Chilopoda.
