Monetary Policy, Institutional Quality, and Ecological Footprint: Insight From ECOWAS

open access: yesClimate Resilience and Sustainability, Volume 5, Issue 1, June 2026.
We used panel data to investigate the effect of monetary policy measures on ecological footprint in ECOWAS states. We used 19 years of data with a census sampling method. We employed the fixed effect, pooled mean, system GMM, and DGMM. The research revealed a bi‐directional causality between the policy rate, money supply, institutional quality, and ...

Effects of Deforestation on Income Inequalities in the Amazon, Borneo‐Mekong, and Congo Basins: What Commercial Opportunities for Combating Climate Change?

open access: yesClimate Resilience and Sustainability, Volume 5, Issue 1, June 2026.
This article shows contrasting impacts of deforestation on inequality: in the Borneo‐Mekong countries, deforestation reduces inequality in the short term; in the Amazon, it has no influence on inequality in either the short or long term; and in the Congo Basin countries, it contributes to long‐term inequality.

Multiple Scattering Suppression in Heterogeneous Media: High‐Precision Imaging of Sleeve Grouting Defects Based on Elastic Reverse Time Migration

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 6, June 2026.
This study proposes an elastic wave reverse time migration (RTM) method to suppress multiple scattering noise in heterogeneous concrete. By effectively utilizing scattered wavefields, RTM enables high‐precision, robust imaging of sleeve grouting defects in prefabricated buildings, significantly outperforming traditional algorithms.
