Near-surface mounted carbon fibre rod used for combined strengthening and cathodic protection for reinforced concrete structures [PDF]
The dual function of a carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) rod working as the near-surface mounted (NSM) strengthening and impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) anode for corroded reinforced concrete structures has been proposed and researched.

Underground thermal energy storage (UTES) integrated with building foundations is an emerging pathway to decarbonize space conditioning by shifting low‐carbon heat across seasons. This review evaluates copper slag, a high‐density, thermally stable byproduct of smelting, as a dual‐function medium for thermally active foundations.

ABSTRACT Severe haze episodes in Southeast Asia, largely attributed to transboundary pollution from neighbouring countries, have led to substantial environmental degradation and adverse health effects. This study presents the development of a novel air quality forecasting model specifically developed to predict particulate matter with a diameter of ...

Gels for CO2 geo‐storage and conformance control: A systemic review of behavior and performance
This review provides a systemic evaluation of potential sealants used in CO2 subsurface storage practices. Critical analyses of how external factors like CO2, pH, brine salinity and hardness, rock mineralogy, pressure, temperature, and injectivity could affect the performance of different sealants are provided. Abstract Carbon capture and storage (CCS)
