Optimization of Geopolymer Cement Production Technology
Around 4 billion tonnes of Portland cement are manufactured worldwide every year. For every tonne of Portland cement produced, around 0.6 tonnes of CO2 are released to the atmosphere. This leads to an annual contribution of approximately 8% of the global CO2 anthropogenic emissions.

A review in geopolymer binder with dry mixing method (geopolymer cement) [PDF]
This paper reviews and explains the potential of more applicable geopolymer binder for use. This method is called: “Dry Mixing Method of Geopolymer Binder-Cement Geopolymer”. The mean is that the geopolymer binder is presented in a dry form (like cement powder), which is contains some solid alkali activator and pozzolan materials. How to use it exactly

Mechanical performance of glass-based geopolymer matrix composites reinforced with cellulose fibers [PDF]
Glass-based geopolymers, incorporating fly ash and borosilicate glass, were processed in conditions of high alkalinity (NaOH 10-13 M). Different formulations (fly ash and borosilicate in mixtures of 70-30 wt% and 30-70 wt%, respectively) and physical ...

Influence of size reduction of fly ash particles by grinding on the chemical properties of geopolymers [PDF]
Chemical properties of geopolymers were evaluated from the reduction of fly ash particle size by grinding. X-ray diffraction determined that at early curing ages new crystalline phases appear in the matrix of the geopolymer and they remain for 28 days ...

Uniaxial compressive strength of geopolymer cement for oil well cement [PDF]
AbstractEnsuring oil-well-integrity is one of the challenging tasks when cementing is designed. It has been well established that cement tends to degrade when exposed to a corrosive environment and at elevated temperatures. This paper presents the results of the uniaxial compressive strength of the qualified mixes of geopolymer cement containing fly ...
