Forecasting Equatorial Plasma Bubbles From Precursor TEC Signatures Observed by C/NOFS
Abstract This study investigates the potential of localized total electron content (TEC) perturbation measurements, possibly associated with bottomside upwelling of the F‐layer, as precursors for forecasting ionospheric plasma irregularities, particularly the equatorial plasma bubbles (EPBs).

Forecasting SEP Atmospheric and Space Radiation by Coupling UMASEP and NAIRAS Models
Abstract The Nowcast of Aerospace Ionizing RAdiation System (NAIRAS) model predicts the radiation environment from the Earth's surface to free‐space. The model output provides dosimetric and particle flux quantities required to assess the hazardous radiation impacts to human health and adverse effects on vehicle electronic systems.

Modulation of Electron Rolling‐Pin Distribution Behind Anti‐Dipolarization Front
Abstract The electron rolling pin distribution, showing electron pitch angles primarily at 0°, 90°, and 180°, has been recently observed behind dipolarization fronts (DFs) in the magnetosphere of Earth. However, the relation between such distribution and the leading edge of tailward magnetic reconnection jets, also known as anti‐dipolarization fronts ...

MAGDAS for Geospace Environment Monitoring
MAGnetic Data Acquisition System (MAGDAS) of the Circum-pan Pacific Magnetometer Network (CPMN) is introduced. MAGDAS/CPMN measures the ground magnetic field all around the world and sends the measured data to Space Environment Research Center (SERC), Fukuoka, Japan, via Internet, telephone line or satellite phone line.

The Global Propagation of Hiss Waves Originating From Dynamic Plasmaspheric Plume
Abstract Hiss waves play a critical role in shaping Earth's radiation belts and mediating magnetosphere‐ionosphere energy transfer. Intense hiss emissions are frequently generated within dynamic plasmaspheric plumes through linear and nonlinear wave‐particle interactions.

Subsurface Marine Heatwaves Intensity Projected to Decrease in the Caribbean Sea Under RCP8.5
Abstract Marine heatwaves (MHWs)—extreme ocean temperature anomalies—are increasing in frequency and intensity globally, yet their vertical structure and drivers remain underexplored in the Caribbean Sea (CS), a region of critical ecological and socioeconomic importance.

Magnetotail reconnection onset caused by electron kinetics with a strong external driver
Magnetotail reconnection plays a crucial role in explosive energy conversion in geospace. Here, the authors show that magnetotail reconnection starts from electron reconnection in the presence of a strong external driver, which then develops into ion ...
