A preliminary study on the dung beetles of the northern Western Ghats, Maharashtra, India

Ecol EvolIn this study, we investigate how sexually transmitted symbionts affect life history traits of three species of dung beetle. We found a consistent positive effect of the presence of Diplogastrellus nematodes on the size of three relatively distantly related beetle host species.
